The Springhaven Cup Invitational

100th Anniversary

Registration:

Applications for registration will begin in the Summer of 2023. Acceptance into the tournament field will be based upon multiple factors including timeliness of application, players previous performance in this event, as well as their accomplishments in other similar events.

  • All competitors are recomended to have a USGA Handicap of less than 7.0. 
  • All competitors must be age 23+ and out of college.
  • All legacy division competitors must have reached their 50th birthday before the start of the tournament


Format:
36 holes - Four-Ball stroke play (Gross only)


Divisions:

- Amateur (At least one competitor is under the of age 50, as of the start of the competition)

- Legacy (both competitors are aged 50+ as of the start of the competition) *Legacy will play a different set of tees, compete for its own prize pool and have its own skins pool


Fees:
Registration - $450 (per team)

Carts - $136 (per team)


Transportation:

Carts permitted, caddies and forecaddies available upon request. (non-Springhaven certified caddies are not permitted)

Friday, November 3, 2023
10:30am:  Registration, Lunch and refreshments (Garden Terrace)
12:15pm:   Shotgun Start (Beer and refreshments on course included) 
5:00pm:   Open Bar and Hors D’oeuvres (Garden Terrace)
6:00pm:   Dinner (Business Casual Attire, Garden Terrace / Ballroom)
~7:00pm:   Official “Piggy” Tournament, “Weigh-In” and “Jerky Pool”

Saturday, November 4, 2023
10:00am:    Coffee and Breakfast (Garden Terrace)
11:00am:    Modified shotgun begins followed by tee times (Pairings are based upon round 1 scores, beer and refreshments on course included) 
Conclusion of Play:  Cocktails & Hors D’oeuvres 

~ 5:00pm: Awards Presentation (Scoring Area)


Rain Date:

Friday and Saturday November 10th and 11th 2023.

- Tee Gift for All Players

- Amateur and Legacy Division Awards (- Est. Total Purse Based On Field Size from 2022 (Amateur ~$4,000) (Legacy~$1,000)​
- Skins, Closest to the Pin, Weigh-In ($100/team collected at the event, prizes paid both days)

     - Skins Rules: 

          - 1: Amateur and Legacy Divisions will have their own skins pools.

          - 2: All hole-in ones pay, but not all eagles pay
- Jerky Pool (2nd day only)
